Mrs. Gertrude Barner Glenn died Friday morning in the Cleveland Clinic Hospital, Cleveland. She was born in Towanda and graduated from Towanda High School. Mrs. Glenn was the daughter of the late Harry and Georgie Barner of Shores Hill. She attended Cleveland Bible College, Cleveland, and Nyack Missionary College, Nyack, N.Y. She was a member and adviser with the Christian Business Women's Association and president of the Women's Foreign Missionary Society. Mrs. Glenn was a member of the Christian Missionary and Alliance Church in Cleveland. Surviving are her husband, Francis of Cleveland; sons, Paul D. who is a lawyer with the Federal Securities Exchange in Washington D. C.; James D. who is a medical student at Ohio State University, Columbus; two sisters, Elizabeth Bresee of Athens and Margaret Gillette of Towanda; nieces and a nephew. Funeral services were held in Cleveland Monday.
