Wallkill - John Pierson Bull, 68, of the Spring Valley Stock Farm in the Town of Wallkill, died Saturday in Horton Memorial Hospital, Middletown, following a short illness. Mr. Bull was born at the Spring Valley Stock Farm Oct. 10, 1906, to Ebenezer and Helen Garthwaite Pierson Bull. He was married to the former Jeanette A. Jacobsen, who passed away Feb. 23, 1969. A lifetime resident of the area he was a dairy farmer, a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hamptonburgh, master of the Montgomery Grange, and past master of the Orange-Rockland Pomona Grange. He is served by three sisters, Mrs. C. Richard Kirby of San Jose, Costa Rica, Mrs. Car Stahlbrand of Boxford, Mass., and Mrs. Herman Schuerholz of Middletown; two stepdaughters; three step-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2:30 Monday at the First Presbyterian Church of Hamptonburgh, Campbell Hall, with the Rev. Robert E. Blade officiating. Friends may call today 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Overhiser Funeral Home 78 Union St., Montgomery. Burial will be in the Hamptonburgh Cemetery, Campbell Hall. Contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Hamptonburgh or Horton Memorial Hospital, Middletown. Funeral arrangements are by Millspaugh Funeral Directors, Walden.
