To Daniel and Steven Bull
We are commanded to love our neighbours as ourselves and to do unto all as we would they should do unto us, yet you have joined the party that has been so uncharitable as to call us Christ infidels blasphemous heriticks & just like those that persecuted our early friends, therefore allow me to state some passages of Scripture in our defence, thee Apostle sd we have known Christ after the flesh but henceforth we know him no more after the flesh, we read the flesh profiteth nothing likewise guess to the spirit that goeth away for if I go not away thee Comforter wont come, but if I go away I will send thee Comforter and he will send another Comforter the spirit of truth, the Comforter to be the same that went away, we read that which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the spirit is spirit, for Christ to be greatly glorified a body hast thou prepared for me, Now we believe this body is the great power and wisdom of God thee Father that was in that prepared body, we read that Christ is in us all except we are reprobates, that in that outward body he is in us believers we have a portion of the same Christ that was in guess every great patron unless we are reprobates, and if we let this Christ the Comforter the spirit of truth rise and Rule in our hearts whatever we should feel for one another for God is love, here we have an Evidence that Christ is come in the flesh, if this were our happy experience, then however different our gifts may be or however different we may see yet if all peace and harmony love and charity would abound, we read that and the spirit of Christ are one of his, therefore the head what spirit you are of, thus you ought to have done before you open your mouths to accuse and stigmatize your brethren. Now had you let Christ the spirit of truth Rule in your hearts their would been no watching for Evil and bringing to seek flaws, no judging and condemning your brethren without hearing their defence, it contrary to Scripture, an opposing of our Ministers in publick Meeting contrary to good order Scripture and discipline, no charging of them with Antichristian doctrines that was in the London Epistle, what was these Antichristian doctrines, I have asked several they gave me answer, their Sermons has been taken down and will stand the test, no finding out false reports against them, no leaving to get all the property, no applying to the legislators to get yearly Meeting incorporated with the State to get all the property no applying Constables to take from from Meeting and comparing them as there would been none of these things for they are not the fruits of Christ’s spirit some of his, Jesus reproved the young Man that called him good Master, Do why callest thou one good (Sd) their was none good but one and that was God, So he did not own himself God for he was no trinitarian. Now what good has it don to contend about that outward body that must go away, but you took the Apostle advice not to know Christ any more after the flesh, but only let the spirit of truth Rule in your hearts, then there would been love and charity peace and harmony, then you would love your neighbours as yourselves and do unto us as you would been willing to be don unto, the tree is known by the fruit.
we read that Jesus was tempted in all points like as we are yet without sin if this Jesus was God how could he be tempted we read that God cannot be tempted we believe Jesus (Christ) is the great power and wisdom of God the Father this Jesus the Jews never did know and hang on a tree Now this Christ is the life that enlightens all men that comes into the world, and is the Christ that is in us all Except we are Reprobates and must live and Reign in our hearts if we Ever get to heaven, Now as I have used the most I wish my views to you pleas to answer them in writing to me if not understood so like as we use to do that we may learn of one another then which love to Each other for love is the foundation of true Religion.

Daniel Bull and Stephen Bull pleas to point out the Errors that I hold in my principles for you did not point out any when you treated with me to disown one agreeable to discipline, for if I am wrong I stand open and willing to be Rectified how much better it would look to the world, people to see us all united again, but then see we must have love and Charity for the truth tho if I’d had power to Remove mountains and Suffered my body to be burned and have not Charity it profiteth me nothing I CRelationships
