Document Transcription: 2110.jpg JOSEPH MERRITT ATTORNEY AND COUNSELOR GOSHEN, N. Y. April, 27, 1920. Mrs. Elizabeth B. Greene, Stony Ford, Orange Co., N. Y. Dear Madam:- Before issuing the Summons against Andrew Kaliniak I wish you would go and see this man and say to him "I demand the possession of the cow which belongs to my father's estate now in your possession, and I want you to deliver the cow to me now." Let Mrs. Harlow go with you. Also say to him that he didn't leave the two tons of hay at the place as he agreed, and that you want him to pay you $50.00 for same. Let me know what he says, and then I will have the Summons issued and served. Also please write me just what proof you have in the matter. What you will testify to and what they will testify to. He claims as I told you that your father gave him the cow when she was a calf, and that he can prove it by his wife and your brother. Yours very truly, [Signed] Joseph Merritt JM:M
