Scope and Content

203 Walnut Place Philadelphia 21 Aug. 1912 Mrs. William V. Seaman Craigville N.Y. Dear Mrs. Seaman. I greatly appreciated your sending me a copy of the Goshen Independent Republican giving notice of the 200th Anniversary of the coming of Sarah Wells to Orange County and regretted exceedingly that I was not well enough to attend. I have no doubt the celebration passed off with great success - and did credit to the part you, no doubt, took in it. I notice you had a good deal to do with the celebration, having read the account in the Goshen paper which I subscribe to; and have for many years past, to keep well informed what goes on among the descendants of William Bull and Sarah Wells. I congratulate you. With renewed expressions of my thanks, and assurances of my highest regard, believe me to remain Very Sincerely yours Stevenson H. Walsh.
