Hand written document only transcribed MISS MARGARET L. MOON Moonbeams R. D. 1 Middletown, N. Y. 10940 4/4/66 Dear Philip Seaman: At last, here is the copy of the old manuscript found in the Goodwill Church. Excuse the typing, please. In the first place I am not an expert typist — and secondly, I have just acquired an electric typewriter which I am not too familiar with yet — A lot of this is terribly verbose — most of it in phrases, rather than whole sentences — but it was interesting to me to learn about their trip to the "wilderness" & the building of the "wigwam" — The second account of it which is unfinished — is more detailed & interesting than the first. Also it tells that Sarah was born in New Jersey — later going to Staten Island to live, after losing her parents — It also mentions that she was an indentured servant — Hope you’ll find some of it interesting. Sincerely, Peg Moon
