Here’s the check we spoke about – that will at least help towards getting the Wells dress project underway.
I’m going to try to get my sister to also help out – but she is more interested in the Adams side of our family and I have had no success in getting her interested in the Wells side to date.
My other sister, who used the Wells dress sleeves in her own wedding dress, died Feb 16 – 1990: Florence D. Hyland & her husband a retired Navy Admiral.

Just when my mother donated the sleeves to The Bull Assoc I don’t know but it must have been after WWII and before 1953. Her maiden name was Marion F. Bull, marrying Butler Whiting in 1912.
I will send along the 8x10 oval picture at a later date and perhaps a plate or some identifying note in glass could remark on her interest in the dress. I know she would be pleased with the idea.
