Our ancestor Sarah Wells Bull beside being a fearless pioneer maiden was a wonderful seamstress because she made a most beautiful wedding dress for her daughter when she married Silas Horton. (We are very, very grateful to Mrs. Tuthill of Craigville for letting us have that wedding dress today.
Margaret and her husband as was the case with many of her brothers and sisters families in the trying times of the Revolution were on opposite sides. She was evidently not the stronger minded in her family as Silas Horton joined the Continental army. They had seven children.
