Scope and Content

C.M. Revelation VII. Ch. 13. 14. 15. 16. & 17 verses 1. Say what are these so richly clad In robes so white and fair; From whence came they; and where or had Those shining robes they wear? 2. Why these are they which have come out Of tribulations flood, And wash’d their robes, and made them white In the Redeemer’s blood. 3. Therefore they are before the throne, And serve their Maker well; And he himself, that sits thereon, Shall ever with them dwell. 4. They’ll never hunger any more. Nor thirst: for all is joy; The sun on them shall have no power, Nor any heat annoy. 5. For, lo! the Lamb, that’s in the midst Of the eternal throne, Shall be their guide, and feed them with His blessed hand alone. 6. He leads them on by night and day, Thro’ living fountains rise; And God himself shall wipe away All tears from off their eyes. Dec 13. 1824 W. H. Dinsinby
