Conditions of Sale The conditions of this Vendue held at the house of Andrew L. McCord in the Township of Goshen this 24th day of March 1823 are as follows. viz. All articles set up at this Vendue shall be struck off to the highest bidder- Any person or persons purchasing property here to the amount of one Dollar or under will be cash - Any person or persons purchasing property over one Dollar will be entitled to six months credit by giving their notes with approved security - in case any disputes should arise respecting the bid or sale of any articles the Crier shall decide - Any person or persons purchasing property here and refusing or Neglecting to comply with these conditions the property shall be set up again and if not sold for as much at the second sale the first purchaser shall make good the deficiency, and if sold for more he shall not be benefited thereby - No articles to be removed till the above Conditions are complied with.
