Dear Corrine:
Thanks for confirming the old Orange boundary line just where I thot it was. Mrs. S. thot it was just below the Reeves farm because she found and item in R. & C. history that the Denn and Bull Patents were later found to be outside the Wawayanda Patent. That must be in error for all the deeds read within said Patent. I knew it did not cross the Trail above the road leading into your home.
I have also proved it was in Goshen originally as I got the legal boundaries when Goshen was set up in 1788 from Albany. Viz: Goshen was bounded on the east by E. Cornwall; on the North by the Ulster Co. line and on the west by the Walkill and on the south by Quaker Creek & c. Some day I will loan it to you.
I love the sketch of the stone house on your paper. Who did it and could I get permission to use it in the book if I can make space for it???? Mike Albert thot they had the plate but if the note paper does not copy, do you have any copies of the original. But I think it will copy as is.
The book will be hard cover, letter-press and really a de luxe book. It was supposed to be a paper booklet but my sponsors notified me a week ago, it was to be top grade so I had to make many changes in my photos and it is due to go to press around July 15th for fall release.
Yes, the sketch of Sara is by Wesley Dennis. I am using five of his drawing as I own the copyright.
I have unknown data on Denn and the expiration date which Mrs. S. also questioned as she never heard of such a thing. Found it in a very old history of Goshen by Louis La Pierre tho I do not know who he is but am now trying to find the documents. Am rushed to death.
My best to you.
Fondly,
Betty [Signed]
