THE OLD CLINTON HOUSE
This picture of the old Clinton house was given to me by Stephen Hayes, former Supervisor of the Town of Woodbury. It came to him with other pictures and he was hunting for homes for them.
Margaret Wallace, historian of that area remarked to me that if the Bull Family is not going to use it for display she would like to use it in the 1841 Court House for the Orange County Historical Society display.
John Springstead Bull built a beautiful stone house on the former Clinton farm which still stands and is being used in the New Windsor Town Ride-a-thon now in progress.
I do not know whether any part of the old Clinton House standa. John's family according to the newspapers tore down a section.
