Know all Men by these Presents, That
I Thomas Bull of the town of Crawford County of Orange and State of New York am held and firmly bound unto Alexander Thompson of the same place in the sum of Three thousand Dollars lawful money of the United States of America, to be paid to the said Alexander Thompson or to his certain Attorney, Executors, Administrators, or Assigns. For which PAYMENT well and truly to be made, I do bind myself and my Heirs, Executors, and Administrators firmly by these presents. Sealed with my Seal Dated the fifth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty three.
THE CONDITION of the above obligation is such, that if the above bounden Thomas Bull or his Heirs, Executors, and Administrators, or any of them, shall and do well and truly PAY, or cause to be PAID, unto the above mentioned Alexander Thompson or to his certain Attorney, Executors, Administrators, or Assigns, the just and full sum of one thousand five hundred Dollars in one year after date with Interest from the date then the above obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
