DELMAR-Mr. and Mrs. Brayton R. Babcock, Jr. of 15 Pinedale Ave. have announced the engagement of their daughter, Dianne Allayne, to Malcolm
Thomas Seagears. Mr. Seagears, is the son of Clayton B. Seagears
of Albany and Cherry Plain, formerly of Middletown, and of
Mrs. Robert A. Wells of Bethesda, Md. Miss Babcock is a graduate of
Albany Academy for Girls and attended Wheelock College, Boston. She will be graduated from the American University in Washington, D. C. in June. Mr. Seagears attended Bethlehem Central School and the University of Vermont and is an alumnus of Orange County Community College and the American
University. He served in the Army and is now a writer for the U. S. Forest Service. Plans are being made for a June wedding. Mr. Seagears, a native of Middletown, is a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harmon F. Mentley, 136
