Notes

Walter writes in a letter to Worrell that he observed and sculpted from life a cheetah in Africa in the Fall of 1997 which led to the creation of this sculpture, casting it "...in the Spring". If I reckon correctly, then the casting would have occurred the same year as the sale. -- R. Facemire
