Description

Hcak / w01082 Kerchief. Tan background with multi - colored design of flowers, 26" square not including fringe on all 4 sides. Woman's scarf or kerchief of hand-block-printed, twill-woven, cream silk. The printed design features a center field of indiennes-type abstracted red and green floral sprigs, surrounded by a deep border of red roses interspersed with indiennes motifs and multi-colored curvilinear "branches." The outer border is printed with small flowers in shades of pink, orange, yellow, blue and green on a black background. Three edges are self-fringed, and the fourth edge is selvedge.
