A bound collection of newspapers from 1898 to 1899 which primarily includes the Willimantic Journal but also includes other newspapers such as the Norwich Courier, The Day (New London), and The Rockville Journal. Also included in this binding is a school plan bound between the newspapers.Context
The first newspaper to be published in Willimantic was The Public Medium in January 1847. The Public Medium later changed its name to The Willimantic Journal. Like the other bound Willimantic Journals of this collection, this binding belonged to Saxton B. Little before being held by Lucy Crosbie. The Norwich journal has been in several other of these bound collections alongside the Willimantic Journal.Collection
