A white book with black text and a circular engraving of the White House in the center. The book contains "cooking, toilet and household recipes, menus, dinner-giving, table etiquette, care of the sick, health suggestions, facts worth knowing, etc." This is the 4th re-printing of the 1887 original. The book itself is in a somewhat fragile state, dinged up and worn on the outside with loose and missing pages throughout.
