Description

BSA uniform of John Champe of Lebanon, CT, Troop 58. The shirt is missing a circular patch over the right side chest pocket, and the third button down is lost. Other than these the shirt is in good condition. The buttons all feature the BSA insignia and the motto "Be Prepared." A handwritten and sewn tag inside the neck states that this shirt belonged to John Champe of Lebanon, CT, Troop 58. The garment tag indicates the age of the wearer, 16, neck size 14, and the number 687. It also says the garment is union made. The shorts have a similar handwritten tag inside the waistband and include a canvas belt with a rusted metal buckle. The buckle features the BSA insignia in raised relief.
