A partial box of Star darning and mending cotton, circa 1940, manufactured by the American Thread Company in Willimantic, CT. It contains seven partially used spools of thread in different colors, it originally would have held ten spools with 20 yards of thread each. The cellophane window of the box is broken and partially missing and the corners show some wear.Collection
