They specify that tenants are not allowed to sublet the tenements, that they may not make alterations, and that they may not keep livestock, among other things. It is signed off by E.S. Boss, Agent. Eugene S. Boss was an agent of the Willimantic Linen Co. and then later the American Thread Company. He worked his way up from middle management to chief executive of the Willimantic Mills.
