Name/Title
Two Milliner's Heads c.1930Entry/Object ID
2024.27.1Description
These wooden head forms were used by Rose Falco when she worked as a milliner in Manhattan in the 1930s. The heads were used as a base for making women's hats, and include a hole in the bottom so they could be mounted onto a base or mannequin. One of the heads is labelled with its size, 22 1/2, and has fabric pinned to it which may have been the beginnings of a hat.Collection
