The Oaks Mill Worker Cottages, Willimantic Linen Company

The Oaks cottages were single-family units built in 1880 according to four different architectural plans on Quercus Avenue, Fairview Street, and Crescent Street in Willimantic. The Mill Museum holds the architetcural plans in its collection, and they can be viewed elsewhere in this catalog. See, for example, 2022.4.71. The architect who designed the Oaks cottages was Eugene C. Gardner (see web link below).
