Description

A collection of newspapers from the Willimantic Journal from January 1902- January 1904.

Context

The first newspaper to be published in Willimantic was The Public Medium in January 1847. The Public Medium later changed its name to The Willimantic Journal. Included in this collection are editions of the Willimantic Journal as well as other local newspapers such as The Connecticut Courant and the Meriden Morning Record. This bound collection begins with the Willimantic Journal Vol. 60 - No. 1 publication on January 3 1902 and ends with The Connecticut Courant on January 7th 1904.
