Willcox and Gibbs electric sewing machine with case. Included are the sewing machine and foot pedal with appropriate cords attached. The case is wooden with cradles built in to support the machine in transit. Inside the lid is a list of instructions for the operation and maintenance of the machine. It also features the red and gold Willcox and Gibbs logo, a sewing machine with needles crossed in front. The Willcox and Gibbs company began making sewing machines in 1858, operating out of a factory in Providence, RI. Their machines featured a simple design and were cheaper than their largest competitor, Singer, which allowed them to flourish.Collection
