Scope and Content

An intricately decorated brown and gold scrap book containing invitations and announcements from 1901 to 1956. The pages are yellowed with age and most of the objects inside feature fading and shadowing, but are otherwise in good condition. Most of the wedding invitations are in the Queen Victoria style, simple black text on white or beige paper. The announcements, mostly baby announcements, are in the style of an illustrated greeting card.
