This is an updated history of Windham, Connecticut. Contents include information and history on the different towns within the county, and information about local interests such as the libraries and winter in Connecticut. This edition also includes information on more recent events to Lincoln including the First World War and Women's Suffrage.

Context

Ellen Larned (1825-1912) was a prominent historian of Windham County in the 19th century and wrote down volumes of local history. Lincoln continued in Larned's style writing an updated history of the area.
