A cardboard box of Star white three cord mercerized ready-wound bobbins from the American Thread Company. The box originally contained half a gross (72) bobbins but now has just over half that many. The box indicates that each bobbin holds 65 yards of thread. These types of bobbins are used on home sewing machines to complete the bottom half of the stitches they create. The box is in good condition with only one small rip on one side of the lid. The bobbins and thread are largely stained.Collection
