Description

A small crochet hook with flat beige celluloid handle and matching beige celluloid case with dark blue velvet insert. The end of the handle is stamped "MEF/PAT. AUG.17.1915" with the number 16 in the center and the word "DIADEM" below. "MEF" stands for Mary E. Fitch who was a crochet enthusiast from Brookline, MA, and who obtained the patent for the hook design.
