2024.30.5Description
A mostly plain cardboard box containing 12 "large balls" of ATCO Article 20 Crochet Cotton Mercerized Six Cord in Ecru (109). A wide strip of kraft colored paper tape once held the lid on and on the top is handwritten in pencil "Pauline Le Claire." The only label on the box is at the end. The lid of the box is torn at one corner but the thread is in good condition. Crochet cotton is used to make a variety of projects, though mostly lace. A fine hook is used to create either intricate patterns or dense fabrics.Collection
