4-oz bag of Ponemah Yarn Carded Wool for Handspinning: The image shows a clear plastic bag containing wool labeled as "PONEMAH YARN" from the Quinnehticut Woolen Co., displayed prominently along with "100%," suggesting its pure wool content. The packaging is transparent, allowing the wool's hue to be slightly visible, although the focus is primarily on the label's information. The mail address provided is P.O. Box 522, Norwich, Conn. 06360, indicating the location of the yarn provider. The contents weigh four ounces and are specifically noted as being carded wool intended for hand spinning, giving insight into its purpose for crafting or textile work. The bag is slightly crinkled, adding a touch of texture to the image. Set against a plain background, the focus stays firmly on the product itself.

The Quinnehticut Woolen Company was founded in 1990 and located in the former Ponemah Mill (closed 1972) in the Taftville neighborhood of Norwich, CT. (Source: Dale Plummer, personal communication.) The Company was an attempt to bring back the textile industry in Connecticut, albeit on a smaller scale.
