Description

A collection of pencils used by a tailor, hand-sharpened with a knife except for the bottom two. The second from the top is unused and the second from the bottom is mechanical. The top three shown are marked "C.B. Hewitt & Bros. Inc. 16-24 Ferry St. New York City. Pattern Papers." C.B. Hewitt & Bros. was a wholesale paper, glue, and boards company between 1870 and 1967.
