Scope and Content

Scrapbook kept by Hattie H. Hill during her time as Grand Adah of the Order of the Eastern Star. Adah is a biblical figure who for the OES represents the virtue of obedience. The woman elected Grand Adah shares the lesson of Duty of Obedience to the will of God with the group at events. The scrapbook is dated 1938-1939 and contains ephemera from various OES events during that time such as invitations, place cards, programs, and favors.
