A quad-fold sample book from the American Thread Company that would have been distributed to manufacturing companies. The companies could then choose the colors of thread they wanted to purchase from ATCO. The cover specifies that these samples do not apply to the Shoe Trade, Star Mercerized, or Star Fast lines of thread. Inside are a large number of samples of different colored threads beside their SKU numbers and common names.
The book is stained but otherwise in sturdy condition, the tape bindings are all intact and show minimal structural wear.Use
