An open wooden suitcase style case with silver clasps. The handle lies detached in front of the open case. The top inside of the case has a second wooden layer, creating a pocket. The lower inside contains various thread samples, covered by a thick acrylic layer.

Description

A sample case used by American Thread Company salesmen circa 1970. The wooden case is in excellent condition with the exception of the plastic handle being broken off. A hinged acrylic layer keeps the spools of thread and sample cards free of dust and debris.
