Pieces of Girl Scout uniforms, specifically Brownie Troop 5452 of CT. "Brownie" is the second age group of Girl Scouts. The age groups are Daisies (kindergarten and 1st grade), Brownies (2nd and 3rd grade), Juniors (4th and 5th grade), Cadettes (6th, 7th, and 8th grade), Seniors (9th and 10th grade), and Ambassadors (11th and 12th grade)
Included are a light brown jumper, light brown pants, dark brown vest with patches, light brown sash, and red necktie. On the right front of the vest are two brown patches saying "GIRL SCOUTS USA" and "CONNECTICUT TRAILS," as well as patches reading 5452. There are also two triangular patches featuring a tree (Earth and Sky badge) and a deer (Animals badge). On the left side are seven triangular badges featuring a spoon and bowl with vegetables (Food Fun badge), the girl scout emblem with rainbow beams (Girl Scout Ways badge), three dancing bears (Caring and Sharing badge), a patterned shirt and jewelry (Art to Wear badge), a ladybug and magnifying glass (Eco-Explorer badge), the word "please" and three hearts (Manners badge), and three active stick figures (Playing Around the World badge). On the back are three additional patches, the first light blue with a yellow seahorse and the words "100+/ Incredible Voyage/ Cookies '95". The second patch is white, reads "READING IS TONS OF FUN/ GIRL SCOUTS" in red thread, and features a green animal reading a book with "'93" and "'94" on the covers. The last patch is blue and shows a dark blue cookie stand with two yellow girls behind it, in yellow it reads "BOOTH SALES/ 1995". There appear to be two patches which were removed from the back. The vest is a size 10-12 or medium, and is official Girl Scout attire.
The pants are plain light brown with an elastic waist band, size 8, official Girl Scout attire. They would generally be worn with a button up shirt, necktie, and either sash or vest.
The jumper is light brown with a pocket on either side and a zipper to halfway down the front. Embroidered on the top left is "GIRL SCOUTS USA." It is also a size 8 and official Girl Scout attire. It would be worn with a button up shirt, necktie, and either sash or vest.
The sash is a thin light brown material which comes to a mitered corner on one side. It is heavily creased from being folded. The necktie is a straight piece of red fabric, meant to be worn around the neck under a shirt collar and crossed once in the front. It would be held in place with a pin.Collection
