Description

A cardboard box of Spun Dee white stabilized spun polyester ready-wound bobbins from the American Thread Company. The box originally contained half a gross (72) white bobbins but several have been replaced with black bobbins and others are missing. The box indicates that each bobbin holds 63 yards of thread. These types of bobbins are used on home sewing machines to complete the bottom half of the stitches they create. The box itself is in good shape, though the lid is badly ripped and has been repaired with tape on one corner. The white bobbins are stained for the most part and the black bobbins are somewhat faded.
