Crocheted linen bedspread, six-pointed star pattern. Made c. 1915-26 by the donor's mother, Anna D. Friedler. Friedler (Chana Dina Feld [Larkenfeld]) was born in 1898 in Poland and immigrated into the United States as a child, via Ellis Island. Lived in New York City, then in Lewiston/Auburn in Maine. Lived in New York at the time of the Triangle Fire and was a member of the International Garment Workers Union.Textile Type
