A Letter "To Whom It May Concern" recommending Charles W. Hill for employment, with the understanding that if Hill was not drafted into World War 1 he would be instated into a favorable position with the American Thread Company for which he had already worked "twelve and one half years." The letter is dated April 16,1918. The paper is yellowed with age, creased once at the top third, twice at the bottom third, and once in the upper left corner where there are also two staple marks. The watermark on the paper reads "REFERENCE LINEN LEDGER."Collection
