Description

An unfinished quilt made by Hatrie E Fuller Johnson of Columbia, CT. The quilt features a paper piecing technique where paper is tacked to the back of the fabric to stabilize it during the sewing process and it afterward removed. In this case blank as well as printed paper was used, some from local newspapers of the time.
