Notes

Per Denise, this is one of the first baskets she made, created in Davis, CA while in a class taught by Mabel McKay in the mid-1980s. The basket is Pomo style and as of the time the donor acquired it from her in 2017, was the only oval basket Denise had made. She recalled having collected the sedge at Warm Springs.
