Blade made in one with handle, sharply tapering, with back edge at the point formed by a chamfer on one side and an etched panel of conventional foliage at the base of each face. Flaring rectangular handle close-plated with silver. Nielloed with scrolling leafy ornament and a cupid on the wide sides, engraved with a rope moulding down the narrow sides. The pedestal-shaped finials covered with silver stamped with trophies and anthemion. The end of gilt-bronze. Only one of the broader faces retains all its silver plating.Collection
