Description

37.01 Knife: Sabre-shaped blade with curved edge ending in a blunted point. Waisted circular hollow bolster. Plain deep silver ferrule with two raised bands at lower end. 37.02 Fork: Two long slightly curved tines and waisted neck. Handles: Ivory, carved with four female figures representing the four Virtues : justice, plenty, hope and faith, with frilled headdresses and four additional heads above, crowned by a finial of a lion holding an unmarked shield.
