Head with two long steel tines, elliptical in section, on a short baluster-shaped neck. Handle of boxwood, flaring in shape, the upper half carved as a lion's head above attenuated fore feet, with a gaping, toothy, mouth, and protruding tongue; a hole is drilled through the base of the mouth.
