Description

Blade: Slightly tapering single edged, the back curving down to form the point and with a back edge for half its length and rudimentary bolster. Handle: Silver-mounted of two different kinds of amber in three sections, the lower section partly incised with foliage and flowers, the central part of a lighter colour and the upper part containing the bust of a man in late 17th century costume carved in meerschaum or ivory except for his long periwig which is in amber.
