Description

Blade with straight sides, a round end, and a rounded bolster. Handle made in three sections, the first flattened and flaring with mother-of-pearl scales, diagonally striped mother-of-pearl and green horn edges, banded at the top with matted brass, inlaid with green horn beads and tortoiseshell, and green horn banding; A flattened circular moulding of mother-of-pearl, alternating with tortoiseshell, separates this part of the stem from the; Finial, which is formed as a cockade of three mother-of-pearl feathers emerging from another band of inlaid brass.
