Description

78.01 Knife: Blade scimitar-shaped with cut back point. 78.02 Fork: Head with two long, straight, slender tines on a short baluster neck. Handles: Tapering, of loaded silver, beaked on one side of their rounded tops, with convex sides and flat edges: each side is set with two rectangular mother-of-pearl plaques, rivetted in place, and decorated with transverse raised ribs and stylised scallop shells; the edges are sketchily engraved with conventional foliage.
