Description

The blade with a straight upper edge, the lower tapering towards the point. The profiled bolster and the top of the blade etched with acanthus foliage, and gilt. The flaring handle circular in section, and built up in sections separated by brass washers, the lower ones of ivory decorated with dots, the next of wood inlaid with a lozenge pattern of mother-of-pearl, the next of red-stained horn, and the finial of ivory pique with ebony dots and brass wire.
