Description

142.01 and 142.02 Knives: The blades with straight sides and leaf-shaped point. The hollow bolsters gilt and etched. The long bolsters gilt and encrusted with silver ornament. The flaring handles of aventurine glass, with rounded off ends and silver-gilt filigree finials. 142.03 Case: Of canvas embroidered with silks and metal thread in plaited stitch and eyelet holes (called caol string) with its original string and tassels as carried by ladies to banquets.
