Two long straight steel tines, on a long flat baluster neck. The handle tapering, of oblong section, with a pistol pommel. Made of iron with alternate scales of tortoiseshell and silver, the former each pique with a small silver disc engraved with radiating lines, the latter with raised gadrooning and a little engraved foliage, set between six silver pellets. The back is chiselled with a geometric pattern; the front is slotted as for a penknife handle and filled with red cloth.Collection
